6. Playground Check
NF advised that the climbing frame has been fixed.  There is a leaky tap on the field.  It can be turned off in the kitchen until we have time to replace it.
7. Correspondence

Lorraine will produce a summary of bookings each month to help MB keep track of payments due.

Pete Roberts has written a letter outlining his concerns about the Biker Event.  MB has replied to him and has allayed his fears for the moment.   The date has now been changed to the last weekend of October (28-30).  A public meeting will be held in the Village Hall at 7pm on Wednesday 4 May.  MB to advertise in Parish Mag.  Brian from bikers to be invited back and we need to make a final decision asap after that meeting.

MB has advised PR that we will pay to find out who owns the boundary fence.  The corrugated fencing which is used on Show Day is problematic as kids move it around and it needs to be stored elsewhere.  DY to speak to Vicky Rispin.

8. Any Other Business

MB has a poster from the Post Office advertising their free internet access and use of a computer.  Notice put up on Board.

LR asked if it is ok for people to bring their own refreshments into the Hall for film screening on day of Royal Wedding.  We will supply plastic glasses and would ask that glass is not brought into the Hall.

TG advised that a BBQ has been left outside since Jez’s party.  It belongs to the Cole’s – LR to txt Claire and ask her to pick it up.

This is LR’s last meeting as Hall Rep but she will stay on as Guides/Village Rep.

TG to be paid £100 pa for doing electrical checks etc.

9. Date of next meeting
The date of the next meeting will be Monday 9 May at 7.45pm.

There being no further business the meeting was closed at 2050hrs.
