What Happens
The donations are bagged up, weighed on-board and we are provided with a collection receipt so we know how much we have earned for each collection. The goods are taken back to the base and packed into giant botany sacks which weigh anything between 160 - 200kg each, These are then sold on to C&G processing partners for reuse in Eastern Europe, Central Africa and South Asia. See the C&G Website for full details on how this is helping to protect the Planets precious resources.

C&G Collections Ltd manage our clothing bank, the following is an extract from their Website.
We have owned and run our own textile recycling businesses for over 30 years.
Our passion for the environment and belief in the re-use of resources led us to establish C&G Collections.
While we live and share this planet it is so important to help protect and sustain it for future generations.
As we enjoy our children and grandchildren it's great to know that we’re "‘doing our bit’ to protect their world.
C&G is a business with a strong ethical principle. We care about the environment and we dedicated to our social responsibility. We focus on quality throughout our organisation, providing excellent customer service and conduction out business in a socially responsible manner.
We Operate in full compliance with government environmental agency guidelines and hold a waste carriers licence and waste exemption certificate. We have public & employee liability insurances in place. We use fully branded vehicles and uniformed drivers.
I do hope you will join us on this journey and order your own textile bank.
And when you do, we’ll make a donation to 8 Billion Trees Foundation on your behalf. Its something we do for every textile bank installed to enhance how C&G gives back.
Best wishes
Haydn and Tina Piper
