Meeting Notes Tuesday 2nd September 2008

Main Topic of discussion: October Event

Show day feedback from all was very good. A good interest in the stand and those that we did talk to were keen to come to the October Event.
A suggestion from one of the Saturday visitors was to do another top ten tips for the Mag.
ALL to read existing top ten and see if we need any changes.
SW to contact someone in her work that works in the Energy area to see what their top ten would be.

Also we decided we need more promotion for the day and agreed the following
SW to contact Louise Roberts to see if she had a good contact at the Gazette
AS to contact Wotton Cinema to see if they would take some Flyers
AS to contact the fleece to see if they will take some flyers
AS to checkout Chipping Sodbury tourist office
JB to check out the Evening Post to place an article for the Event
JB to check if other companies want to attend like Green Shop in Bisley
RP to contact SWEA to establish what installers are coming and what they are bringing
RP to checkout other websites we may link with e.g. ecojam, transition towns etc
AS to update Hawkesbury Upton website and the village website..
AS to check with Sue if OK to publish that Steve Webb will be attending and speaking.
AS to ask SH if she has a plan re delivery of flyers to Horton and outlying villages

Discussion took place around producing a feedback from for the day and also a survey form for after the day. Also must encourage email address use.
SW to draft both forms.
ALL to review forms
It was decided that we need to write a small speech of thanks for the day plus create a schedule of events for the day, but this does depend on who is coming and if they are happy to speak on the day or just answer questions.
Mark Steeds provided examples of signage that the PROPS people could make up for us. One across the entrance to the Hall car park would be good.
Suggestions of what we should have on the sign, needs to go to PROPS by end of next week.
Agreed that we will hold meetings every Tuesday till the event.
