Minutes of Meeting
Held on Monday 10th March 2008

1. Apologies
Apologies were received from Sue Herod, Neil Fozard, Chris Rispin and Sue Hope.


2. Previous Minutes
The minutes of the previous meeting were signed as a true record.


3. Matters Arising

Kitchen re-vamp - ongoing. MB has a brochure of new fronts for units to pass on to NF and CR.
Checklist – ongoing
Foyer Tiling – done
Eyelets in Hall – done
Playground bin – ongoing
Drama quote – ongoing. AS has passed quotes to SH.
Energy Audit – report has been circulated and certain areas identified which we can work on. The Energy Group will discuss and look into available grants for the Hall and School. Also we agreed to the setting up of a separate “Energy Fund”.
Village of the Year – FS to contact Louise and find out what help she needs from us.
Simplefundraising – SA still working on letter promoting website. AS to liaise with SA but in the meantime may put something in the Parish Mag.

4. Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer’s Report was distributed and is attached to Minutes.


5 Emergency Lighting/Fire Bells/Extinguishers
All Ok.


6. Playground Check
One swing seat has been fitted and the other is available when required.
Playground tiles need to be cleaned. CE to organise when weather improves.



7. Correspondence

Letter from Cycle Group asking about possible additional parking for future event. AS will check if they have spoken to Martin Gardener.

8. Any Other Business

TG raised concerns about a booking for 5 April. AS to liaise with Suzanne Flye.

9. Date of next meeting
The date of the next meeting will be Monday 14 April 2008 at 7.45pm.
There being no further business the meeting was closed at 2030 hrs.
