Minutes of Meeting
Held on Monday 11th June 2012

1. Apologies
Apologies were received from Kate Bashford, Kath Harkness, Pete & Sue Webb, Bryan Robinson and Dave Anderson.
2. Previous Minutes
The Minutes of the previous meeting were signed as a true statement.
3. Matters Arising
Constitution Issues – No further meetings have been arranged with Helen Black. AS to follow up.
Boundary – MB to contact the bank.
Car Park – We did not get the grant. MB thinks we can afford the patch repair with the previous grant received and is going with the lowest quote of approx. £600 + VAT.
Skatepark – Nothing to report.
Hall Website - AS has done some work on this. JS suggested they get together to review it.
Internet & Phone – AS checking prices.
Boiler – AS reset it as the flame had gone out so it has not been working. He will keep checking it and have it looked at if necessary.
Jubilee Day – Sunday went well and bar takings were around £300. Other days
were not so well supported. CR asked when bunting would be taken down. LR said guides would do it this week.
Cleaner – The new cleaner, Marina Pogose, is very thorough and conscientious. The cleaning rota was found and we need to check she is happy with it.

Resurface Car Park; New Kitchen; Bench for Playground; Stage Curtain Tabs
4. Treasurer’s Report
MB will distribute the report by email.
5. Emergency Lighting/Fire Bells/Extinguishers & Meter Readings
CR was doing the checks after the meeting as he had not been able to get access to the Hall.
6. Playground Check
NF did the check and read through the RoSPA report which BR had passed on. The main things which need to be done are painting and the wooden frame around the mat is broken in places. The Skatepark Group have said they will eventually take over maintenance of the Playground.
7. Correspondence
MB had received a letter regarding refusal of grant for the Car Park.
8. Any Other Business
PS reported that new Lighting Bars have been put up in the Hall at a cost of around £3000. The lights are currently on the stage and need to be cleaned and tested. MB agreed to try and sell old bars and lights on Ebay and Drama Group are happy to let Hall keep any monies received from the sale. CR asked about an electrical certificate for the work done. FS to email Jenny Harris.
PS asked about netting in the composting area. Cropready have put up new fencing. AS to follow up on pricing for netting.
Lorraine asked if MB had details for Tom & Nicole’s wedding as she doesn’t. MB to follow up. Possible clash with booking for Rainbows and NIA Dance on Wed 11 th July – Lorraine to check and let Louise know.
9. Date of next meeting
The date of the next meeting will be Monday 9th July at 7.45pm.
There being no further business the meeting was closed at 8.25pm.
