2. Previous Minutes
These were signed as a true record.
3. Matters Arising
Bank Documents – ongoing.
Website – ongoing. AS has passed photos of Hall to JS.
HURG – PS went to the Area Forum and reported that SGC have not allocated funding for the Composting site for 2015/16. She urged everyone to complete the online survey. Stones have still not been removed. AS to contact SH.
Insulation – This has been paid for.
PAYE – MP is now officially self employed. It was agreed to increase her hourly rate to £8.50 with immediately effect. AS to advise MP.
Pre-School – they sent an email advising that they are unhappy with the increase in Hall Hire charges. The committee was unanimous that we must implement the new prices to cover our increased costs. However we will offer them a free Hall Hire to enable them to run a fundraising event. AS to reply to the email.
Bikers – ongoing.
Licence – ongoing.
Light Bulbs – ongoing.
4. Parish Council Report
PC are still concerned about dog fouling on the Rec. AS to work on a sign to the effect that unless owners clean up after their dogs we will be forced to ban dogs from the Rec.
5. Play Area/Skatepark Report
No report this month. Bill for RoSPA passed to BC for payment. John Day still hasn’t fixed gate.
6. Grants Sub Committee Report
There will be no news until September. JS applying to New Homes Bonus Scheme for Kitchen.
Wishlist
These are items which will be put on hold until funds are available:
Resurface Car Park; New Kitchen; Canopy for Disabled Entrance; New Wall; Projector; PA System + Amp
7. Treasurer’s Report
BC’s report was discussed at the meeting and is attached.
8. Hall Bookings
Razzle event went well. No new bookings.
9. Emergency Lighting/Fire Bells/Extinguishers & Meter Readings
CR carried out checks.
CR did meter readings: Electricity 271399; Oil 47"; Water 1465-811
10. Correspondence
DA forwarded RoSPA invoice (see above).
Email from Pre-school (see above).
BC had a letter from SGC re Gambling Act.
Any Other Business
MH advised that the copper pipe on the outside tap was split. NF confirmed that it is turned off inside.
BR said that the standpipe is switched on. NF to look at this.
AS advised that the Broadband is not working properly.
Easyfundraising – current total is £59.73.
