2. Previous Minutes
The Minutes were signed as a true record.
3. Matters Arising
Deed Documents – ongoing.
Hall Door – this seems to be ok at the moment.
Licence – ongoing. AS to speak to Alex Powell.
Light Bulbs – AS has found that the whole units need replacing which he will do. The light bulbs we bought are to be sold.
Dog Sign – ongoing.
Easyfundraising - following a spate of thefts in the area, AS has looked at CCTV which is about £180 plus £3 per month for remote access charge. JS has suggested asking people to help us raise the money by supporting the Hall through Easyfundraising. She will put this on Facebook and in Parish Mag.
Trees – ongoing.
Water Softener – ongoing.
Venues for Hire Website – AS has added our details to this.
Phone – FS awaiting a reply from HSE. AS has looked at other Halls and many do not have a public phone.
4. Parish Council Report
BR/SH advised that grants are available but we must apply before February. AS/FS to follow up.
5. Play Area/Skatepark Report
No report due this month. Meeting to be held next month. AS/NF are attending to repairs.
6. Grants Sub Committee
JS suggested setting up a working party to plan the new kitchen. HR said Gill Truebody may be prepared to advise. FS to email round and ask for feedback again as nobody has emailed KB. When we have a clear idea of requirements we need a third specific quote. SA is organising a meeting regarding PA system.
AS to contact the contractor who is doing the Wall.

7. Treasurer’s Report
The report was distributed and discussed.
8. Hall Bookings
We have bookings most weekends for the first few months of 2015. It was decided to run a Hall Breakfast on Sunday 29 th March (please put the date in your diary if you can help).
9. Emergency Lighting/Fire Bells/Extinguishers & Meter Readings
CR carried out checks.
CR did meter readings: Electricity 2062; Oil 36.5"; Water 1590-715
10. Correspondence
Poster advertising demonstration of how to use Defibrillator. MH suggested putting it in the Parish Mag. AS to follow up.
11. Any Other Business
MH advised change to his email address.
11. Date of next meeting
The date of the next meeting will be Monday 10 th February 2015 at 7.45pm.
This will follow the Annual General Meeting which will start at 7.30pm.
There being no further business the meeting was closed at 9.00pm.
